Over nearly three decades of production at FEPOTEC, one steadfast partner has played a pivotal role in maintaining precision and ensuring on-time delivery: the Mitsui vertical machining center.
Equipped with the classic FANUC 6M system, this machine has handled high-precision components, contributed to the development and mass production of numerous products, and witnessed FEPOTEC's growth firsthand.
As customer demands for quality and precision continue to rise, the aging control system—though reliable—has struggled to meet modern production needs due to outdated hardware, aging equipment, and the scarcity of repair resources. To address these challenges, we decided to give this machine a comprehensive overhaul and digital upgrade. By replacing the old CNC controller with a cutting-edge computer system and servo drive modules, we aim to enhance machining performance, stability, and part quality.
